PT. Pindad has a new armored vehicle named "Badak"
.Badak is named by Vice President Jusuf when the exhibition of defense
equipment. Vice President Jusuf Kalla ordered 50 vehicles. 'badak' is a
development of 6 × 6 APCs Pindad. Badak equipped caliber 90 mm turret which has
high destructive power and have excellent maneuverability. Badak armored bodies
made from layers of steel capable of withstanding shot 12.7 mm caliber
ammunition. Fitted canon, Panzer Badak also mounted machine gun 7.62 mm caliber
to support the operation. darts canon of this type has a caliber of 90 mm in
collaboration with the Belgian company CMI controlled Defence.panser 3 crew and
6-cylinder diesel engine-powered 340 horsepower, this armored vehicle capable
of racing up to 90 kilometers (km) per hour and has a range operation 600
km.Panser Badak 6 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, 2.9 meters high and weighs 11
tons.
